The European Investment Fund and Kepler Cheuvreux announce cooperation in European private equity

The European Investment Fund (EIF) - the private equity arm of the European Investment Bank - and Kepler Cheuvreux, a leading independent European financial services firm, have agreed to cooperate in the context of a European private equity fund of fund, to which EIF acts as the investment advisor.

The cooperation leverages two major assets:

  • On one side, the EIF brings its 25-year expertise in the field of private equity and venture capital investment; Over a 3, 5 and 10 year period, the EIF return portfolios invested in venture capital technology, venture capital life sciences and growth capital have delivered double-digit returns.
  • On the other side, Kepler Cheuvreux will offer its unique independent distribution platform: A multi-local organisation with 12 European offices and one of the largest client network.

Pier Luigi Gilibert, Chief Executive of EIF, stated “we combine the expertise of two European-anchored references with common values. The EIF is the reference in European private equity markets and Kepler Cheuvreux is the reference of independent financial services in Europe.”
