On Friday 24 January, a team from the Kepler Cheuvreux London office participated in its third volunteering day at City Harvest London, one of the Kepler Cheuvreux Foundation’s anchor projects.
The team spent a day packing crates of fruit, snacks and pantry items for delivery to City Harvest’s network around London. As well as helping to save 9 tonnes of food and 24 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, the team helped feed 22,260 people.
The departure of Anne Lacarrière from the Board led us to launch a recruitment process within Kepler Cheuvreux for new Board members.
The Foundation’s board members continued to examine new projects across Europe.
Since its creation in March 2020 and its legal incorporation in June 2020, the Foundation has distributed a total of € 5.94 million to beneficiaries. The Foundation’s current donation efforts are focused on medical and social care organisations dedicated to children and young people, including the Necker-Enfants Malades children’s hospital and Het Vergeten Kind (The Forgotten Child), along with Food Banks.
The Foundation’s income comes from Kepler Cheuvreux itself via monthly donations, voluntary deductions from employee bonuses, voluntary payroll deductions, the annual Charity Trading Day and various ad hoc Kepler Cheuvreux client events where clients are invited to donate to the Foundation.
