Amsterdam 31st December 2020: Q4 Activity report
Q4 2020 was a very active period for the Foundation. In the previous quarterly report, we had written that the Foundation’s intention was to continue to support charities which support the economic & social victims of the COVID 19 pandemic with a particular focus on Food Banks.
At the beginning of November, the second wave of disbursements was made to Food Banks across seven European countries. A total of € 275,000 was distributed in the second wave.
Then on 26th November Kepler Cheuvreux held its first ever Charity Trading Day. A total of € 393,201 after execution, clearing and settlement costs was raised from trading in European equities with the firm’s Institutional clients. These monies were transferred from Kepler Cheuvreux to the Foundation which proceeded to distribute the funds in a third wave of disbursements to the same Food Bank charities which benefited from the second wave. Therefore, the Food Bank charities below received the totals below from the second and third wave disbursements:

Charitable organisations
Following legal incorporation in June 2020, the Kepler Cheuvreux Foundation has now distributed a total of € 1,168m to COVID-related charities. We would like to thank all Kepler Cheuvreux staff who have been involved in the Baking Challenge, the Charity Trading Day and the 147 colleagues who have pledged money to the Foundation.
The Foundation is still very much open to donations: Kepler Cheuvreux continues to contribute € 50 000 per month. We have further exciting fund-raising plans for 2021 and hope to be able to expand our philanthropic efforts once the COVID 19 pandemic has abated.
Thank you for your interest and support ! If you have any comments or questions, please send them to: [email protected]
