Amsterdam 8th December 2021: Q4 Activity report

We are very pleased to report that it has been another exciting quarter for the Kepler Cheuvreux Foundation. The Foundation was set up at the height of the COVID pandemic with the aim of giving back to society. Our initial focus was on alleviating the healthcare and economic & social effects of  COVID. This meant that our initial giving was centred on hospitals, doctors and food banks.

As we mentioned in the Q3 Activity report, the Foundation has now moved onto long-term, anchor projects which are involved in the education, nurturing and protection of children and teenagers across Europe. We also neatly tick an important UN Sustainable Development Goal: Good health & well-being and Quality Education.

In our most recent round of donations, made in December 2021, we are sending € 742 000 to 11 charities across nine European countries. The beneficiaries, which have been chosen by our colleagues in our local offices, are mainly involved in the treatment of cancer in children and the treatment and wellbeing of mental health issues in teenagers and children.

In total, since inception in June 2020, the Foundation has donated € 2.47m to good causes.

Where does all the money come from ? Kepler Cheuvreux and its employees are very generous donors to the Foundation, our second Charity Trading Day held on Thanksgiving, 25th November, raised € 371 000 in commissions after expenses, and in May we raised € 25 000 from a North-South Challenge where our colleagues ran, cycled and hiked the equivalent distance from our most northerly office, Oslo, to our most southerly office, Madrid.

Thank you for your interest and support ! If you have any comments or questions, please send them to: [email protected]

Best regards,

Robert Buller

Secretary, on behalf of the Kepler Cheuvreux Foundation
